Red Beans & Rice Festival

This past Saturday was the RB & R Festival at Trustmark Park...St. Alexis had a team and Buddy was a part of it, so we went out to support our church! It was beautiful weather and good food....a fun day after a week of being inside with a sick baby!!!

We loved just hanging out on the field....the tents were set up all along the end of the field and the grass was so nice and pretty...whit loved crawling around all over the place! Here he is eating some saltine crackers.

What a week...

Well, no pictures to post of this week...no one would want to see the mess i've been cleaning up for 2 days. Whit is having upset tummy and now has the worst diaper rash in the world. This is our first experience with diaper rash and it is just AWFUL...I could deal with the other mess, but this just seems to bother him so bad. Anyway, just thought I would share what my week has been like so far. Hopefully, the rash will go away soon and his tummy will get back to normal very soon!!

Goat Roast @ St. Philip's

We had a great time at the Goat Roast yesterday. It was BEAUTIFUL weather and the food & music were great also!

Whit sticks his tongue out all the time now...he's got a little tooth popping up! I guess he's feeling it with his tongue. And he loves standing up in his crib.


Bath time is so much fun!
But dinner time is the most fun, especially when he gets a biter biscuit...he loves them but they make such a mess...which means a bath is next!
He kinds looks a little scary in the picture, don't you think!!!

MS State Fair

We went to the fair about a week ago with Kathry, Corey & Aiden. We mainly strolled around and took in the sights!! Whit didn't ride anything and Aiden only rode the merry-go-round with his grandfather. Maybe next year we'll be more into the rides!

This is from Natalie Hutto's baby shower...the only picture I took!! Whit was worn out and took a little nap in Mom's arms! isn't that sweet!!

Alzheimer's Walk

Two weekends ago, we took part in the Alzheimer's Walk here in Jackson. I was walking in honor of my grandmother, Carolyn Kitchens. Our team won 2nd in overall funds raised...and Amber, our team leader won 1st in individual fundraising!! Go amber!
