The Easter Bunny was good to Whit!

So, we might have gone a bit overboard with Easter this year...I guess I was surrounded by it for so many weeks that I was overly into it! oh well, it was a fun day for our family and we enjoyed celebrating.

Yes, the Easter Bunny might have done too much this year for Whit but Buddy and I are slowly eating up the candy and Whit loves his "happies"! Next year I will remember QUALITY, not quantity! As for the happies for Whit, well, the Easter Bunny is a big time bargain shopper and has discovered that Big Lots has the Cars character for SUPER cheap, so we loaded up! He LOVES them and wants to take them everywhere...he's also a super big fan of his new Super-Man pajamas...yes, it even has a cape! The EB is so practical...Whit was outgrowning his old pj's and knew he needed some more!

Here are some glimpses into what we've been up to over the last several weeks...I've been so busy that I haven't been able to post much...

Whit update

I know I haven't written much lately...things have been very busy since I'm working on the days that Whit is at Mothers Morning Out. I have NO time to do things like housework or errands! And trying to do them with Whit makes it harder and slower! Life with a 2 year old. Well, here are a few things that Whit is into these days...
-imitating Cookie Monster while eating anything...rice, turkey, cookies, crackers...he says "cookie monster", numerous sounds like yum, ya, ya, and pushes some of the food in his mouth...the rest falls to the floor for the dogs. Its funny and when i get a chance, I will post the video we made of him doing this the other night!
-saying "bless you mommy" when I sneeze or when he sneezes
-saying "sorry apple juice" when he accidently knocks it over...he says sorry to any object that he knocks over!
-patting me on my back so gently, like he's reassuring me of something!
-going #1 on the potty but refusing to go #2...he loves all of the "potty" steps, flushing, washing hands, etc.
-saying "eww, yuck" about anything dirty, sticky or gooey.
-refusing to put on an item of clothing if he has another item he has in mind that he wants to wear...its all out war if he decides he doesn't like the shirt i picked out.
So, those are just a few of Whit's 2 year old antics. He's my love and my heart and even though he wears me out, I am so thankful that I get to spend so much time with him!
