Headed for the Sun and the Sand
Whit and I are taking off tomorrow with my mom to go to the beach! YAY!! Sarah is coming a little later to join us and we will be gone until Monday so no new posting until I get back. Although I haven't been that great about it lately anyway. The summer will mean a change in our regular weekly schedule...Whit will only go to MMO on Wednesdays...so I have 4 days a week at home with him (Its been only 2 since last August) to wear out a 2 year old...hmmm, what to do?? well, the pool, music class, trips to the gym and the zoo, 9 days at camp...that should do it!! I'm excited about spending time with mom, sarah, our friends and family this summer. Now, off to pack and get ready to soak up some sun!

silly whit
Here are a few things that just make me laugh...Whit is so silly these days!
These are his "Cars" cars...he LOVES them and has to take them everywhere...even the bathtub! Yup, he gathers them up from where ever they are and puts them in the tub each night...and he lines them up just like this...and yes, they are underwater!
The foot is there for blocking purposes b/c I wanted to get a shot of him next to his cars.

4 year anniversary
I am a week late on this one, but i wanted to squeeze it in! Buddy and i had our 4 year anniversary last Thursday. We celebrated by going out to eat at the Auditorium (where my brother in law is the head chef!!) Whit hung out over at the Schneiders while we were at the restaurant...it was so cute when we picked up the boys they were in their matching pj's that i got them for Christmas!! Anyway, i'm so thankful for my wonderful husband! we've been through a ton these last 4 years and life is so different now than when we got married...we've grown to a family of 3, lost family members, added family members, lost dogs, added new dogs, changed jobs, bought and renovated a house...the list could go on but i'll stop there. although things aren't always perfect, we have each other to lean on and to love and that is what makes me happy...plus we have the most wonderful and beautiful child and he is the light of our lives! happy 4th anniversary sweetie!!
