A Backyardigans ball!!! YEAH!!

Happy Easter!!
We had a wonderful Easter despite Whit being sick and him not making it to church! He had fever all weekend long but we still celebrated with eggs and Easter happies! Here is Whit with his Easter basket and his new goodies.

Whit loved Harper's moracoas (sp??) so much that Daddy, i.e. the Easter Bunny, got Whit some of his own!

Busy Busy days...
We've had a VERY busy weekend...We went to LaCazuela on Friday night to hang out with some friends and enjoy some hot chips & salsa and cool margaritas! Then on Saturday we spent the day at the Mal's St. Paddy's Day Parade and St. Alexis after-party. Whit went home with my mom & dad so we stayed and enjoyed the day without running after little Whit. Then today we went to Laurel Street Park for an Easter parade & egg hunt. Whit liked picking up the eggs and shaking them (of course they were plastic w/ candy inside them!) He didn't really want to put them in his basket, but he would put them in other children's baskets! It was a fully weekend and I am WHOOPED! This coming week is Spring Break for my mom and my sister so I look forward to spending some time with the family! Oh and here's some good news....Today, Sarah & Nate signed a contract to buy a house on Myrtle Street...4 streets over from us!!!! YEAH! We're so excited that they are buying in Belhaven...they didn't think they would find anything over here, but they found a big house with lots of needed love and attention! Now we just need to get Mom and Dad to move to Jackson! yeah, right...they love Madison! But if they get tired of driving into Jackson all the time, maybe we can convince them!
Easter egg hunting
This was the Easter basket I used as a child...i'm glad its yellow so that Whit can use it too!

Kathryn & I didn't plan the black shirt/sunglasses thing...it kinds looks like we're trying to be all Men In Black...anyway, we're in a picture with our little guys, which is rare b/c we're usually the ones taking the pictures.
Pops and Whit...he loves his granddaddy!

Easter outfit photos
After playing at the Porter's and a short nap, it was time for Easter photos! Jenny Woodruff took the photos at the old Natchez Trace craft center...she had a bunny and everything! I should be getting a disc with the photos in about a week so i'll post those. On the way home Whit tried on his daddy's sunglasses....doesn't he look cool!?!? I took a few pics of Whit in our neighbor's backyard b/c he just looks so darn cute in that precious Easter outfit!

Sam wouldn't leave us alone during the picture taking, so I just got one with him in it...he's gotten so big! I can't believe he's still only a puppy!
