Whit & Mama Cat

Okay, so Whit LOVES Mama Cat...he loves to look at her and try to grab her and he follows her around the house. I absolutely love watching him interact with her or with the dogs. He loves Spot and Sam but not so much Mojo. Spot will be laying in the chair and he'll stand up and try to get her ears. If i sit down by spot, she'll stay but usually she'll jump out of the chair and go somewhere else. Whit's other favorite thing to do is sit and look out the glass doors at Sam who lays on the deck. He'll play with a toy and talk to himself (or the toy or Sam, maybe??). I really am just amazed by him. I don't get sappy much, but I am just overwhelmed by him and the joy he has brought to my life. I'm so grateful to be his mother and I'm blessed to be able to stay home and take care of him! And I'm so grateful to Buddy for being such a great daddy!

Anyway, soon I'm going to figure out how to put videos on the blog....i've got some good stuff!! But until then, here are some pics of Whit & Mama Cat

Birthday Weekend!!!

I had a wonderful weekend celebrating my birthday! Buddy & I took Whit to the zoo on Saturday and that was so much fun! We got a year long membership so i plan on taking Whit as much as I can. Then we took him to my parents for the night and Buddy & I went to a nice dinner at Trio's...our last nice dinner by ourselves was in April for our anniversary. Then on Sunday, we had lunch at Sarah & Nate's with my parents and then Ren, Rhett, Eva, Kathryn, Corey & Aiden all came by for cake and ice cream! My big birthday present from Buddy & Whit was a Sony handycam camcorder!! Buddy has been looking at them for weeks and i had no idea he was getting one now...i figured maybe for Christmas...but he suprised me and got one early. So, i'm getting excited about trying it out...i have to read over the manual to get a feel for it. Fun stuff! Maybe look for videos on the blog soon!!

Play date with Mary & Evie

Whit and I had a playdate with my friend Mary Cooke Godwin this week...She and I were Phi Mu's together at Ole Miss and she's a stay at home mom too! Her little girl, Evie, is about one month older than Whit. They play so well together!



They have a trampoline so we all got on it and jumped around!! Don't worry, the babies never got to close to the side.

Here are pictures of Ryals Ford Harris....he's such a doll! I can't wait to see him again! Congrats Maddy & Thomas on a beautiful baby boy!

Ryals Ford Harris

Madelyn & Thomas have welcomed their son to the world! Ryals Ford Harris was born on Saturday, Nov. 10 (her actual due date!) at 3:19pm and weighed 8lbs and was 20 1/2 inches long. Sarah, Serenity & I drove to Oxford today to see them. Of course, halfway up there i realized i left my camera, the one thing i told myself not to forget. BUT...Serenity brought hers and i'm waiting on her to email the pictures to me. He's a beautiful baby and we aren't sure just yet who he looks like...a good combo of Maddy & Thomas, I think! Madelyn is doing great and was up and about. We're so happy he's here safe and sound and I can't wait for our babies to play together and be pals!

My friend Natalie had her baby on Monday...a little girl...Kennedy Claire Hutto. She was 8lbs, 1oz and 22 inches long!!!
