Whit's Birthday Circle time in his class...they do a special celebration where he walks around the light one time for each year and they sing a special song. I was glad Caroline and I got to go in and watch then eat lunch with Whit.

My friend Madelyn had baby boy #2 this week! We were so excited to go meet Thacker. Caroline is 6 weeks older than him, but not that much bigger!
Thomas has graciously given me pictures just like this since high school...its something i fear he will never outgrow and when we are 60 and at some CBG reunion, he will be taking my camera and taking pictures of himself!!

It was about to be feeding time for Thacker so I don't think he wanted his picture made!

Christmas Eve Dinner

We all went out to eat with the Luke's after church on Christmas Eve.
Whit using chop sticks....suprisingly, he was pretty good with them!

We went over to the Schneider's house last night to eat and hang out. Whit & Aiden were so happy to see each other and exchange Christmas presents! I managed to get some cute pictures of the girls, but not the boys. Here are Ella Kate (4 months) and Caroline (1 month) chilling on the couch.

Sarah's Baby Bump

Here is Sarah's baby bump! She's 21 weeks with boy/girl twins! We can't wait for the cousins to get here...hopefully they will stay in until mid-April, which will be about 36 weeks.
Whit says his tummy is bigger than aunt sa-sa's....we took a picture to determine if that is true...what do you think??

We had lots of visitors while I was in the hospital. It was great to have so many loved ones welcome Caroline to the world! However, we did have to have one day without visitors due to some headache issues I was having. My doctor also said I needed to get some rest! I had some wonderful friends who waited patiently until we got settled in at home to come see us. Here are some pictures of those who did come by to see us.

My Grandmother Doris...Caroline is her second great-grandchild, but she's also about to have 3 more within the next 6 months!! Our cousin Ashley is expecting a little boy in April and then Sarah expecting a baby boy and a baby girl also in April! She is one proud Great Grandmother!

Whit FINALLY got his ladybug pillow pet...this child has wanted one for months, literally! So, we decided it would make the perfect Big Brother present on the day Caroline was born!

The amazing women whom our baby girl is named after! Mom is actually Carolyn but was often called Caroline by her sister and Buddy's mom is June. We love our mommas and are so thankful for them and their love and support of us.

Caroline June Turpin's Arrival!

Caroline arrived on December 6, 2010 at 7:43am. She weighed 6lbs, 7 ozs and was 19 1/2 inches long. We were watching the clock and hoping she would come at 7:44 because that's when Whit was born, only in the pm! But, she got here one minute earlier. (ignore the dates on these pictures!! somehow the date setting was wrong on the camera so it shows it as 12/5 but it was really 12/6!)
